TRAINING ON NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SKILLS
PREAMBLE

Design, development and implementation of new business has emerged as one of the crucial business management functions today globally. In a country like Nepal, assuming large-scale business prospects may not be an idea worth enough for the investment. The size and prospect of having a particular business in operation may be partly dependent on marketing feasibility, and partly on skill competence of the creator of it.

On the other hand, the country has been facing numerous problems to address the ever-growing need of employment. Entrepreneurship would be an alternative to resolve this problem. Unless a culture of creation of something most innovative and creative is established, the mission of new business may remain incomplete.

Since our most of the university graduates have little idea on creating of new business by their own, the population of unemployed but educated youth has been growing day by day which is one of the severe problems to be addressed by the nation sooner the most.

Within the lines of this situation, Edify Center for Institutional Development has designed a forty-hour training program to promote practical learning of the development of new business.

This training program intends to:
  • establish a firm understanding of the new business formation process among the participants,
